Academic requirements
To be considered for admission into a postgraduate programme at BPP Institute, applicants should hold an Australian bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Equivalent overseas qualifications will be assessed in line with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
In some cases, completion of a BPP Institute Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a related field may provide a pathway into a master’s programme.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency through a recognised test. The minimum requirements are:
- IELTS Academic 6.0 (with no band lower than 5.5) for most postgraduate courses, including the MBA
- IELTS Academic 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0) for courses such as the Master of Management Information Systems
- Equivalent results from TOEFL iBT, Pearson PTE Academic, or Cambridge English may also be accepted
All English language results must be valid at the time of application.

International students must also meet the conditions set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs for a student visa. This includes demonstrating genuine access to sufficient funds for tuition fees and living costs, maintaining Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and complying with all visa conditions during your stay in Australia.
