How you'll study
The course is offered on a full-time basis. Full-time students will typically receive eight contact hours per week and will need to devote at least 30 hours a week to study.
Learning materials
Delivery of the course is on-campus and face-to-face. Units are delivered in a range of classroom settings, including lectures, workshops, tutorials, immersive simulations, lectorials and seminars. Students will also learn key lifelong skills in researching information, using both online and library materials.
There is regular contact with industry representatives throughout the course. Guest speakers are a feature of many units. Many assessments and learning activities will mirror real-world challenges, giving students the ability to apply their skills practically.
Types of assessment
Assessment is designed to test both technical knowledge and practical application. You will complete a mix of written assignments, case studies, group projects, presentations and formal examinations.
You may also work on simulated accounting tasks using industry software, gaining experience that prepares you for professional work.
