Overview

Examinations aren’t just about grades. They prove and highlight your progress, push your potential, and show what you can do. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know, from assessment types to exam rules and the support you need to help you perform at your best.

Assessments

Professional Performance, Not Just Theory

Every assessment is a chance to prove your mastery. We use a mix of performance checks designed to motivate continuous learning and measure your ability to perform against the highest industry standard.

Your Portfolio Of Proof: Expect to deliver work that matters, including:

  • High-Stakes Exams and Tests (open or closed-book).

  • Live Pitches & Debates in hypothetical corporate environments.

  • Real-World Case Studies based on current business challenges.

  • Authentic Assignments such as strategic reports, business plans, and formal proposals.

All your work is criterion-referenced and standards-based—because we only measure against the best. Check the Assessment Policy to know the rules of the game.

Academic Integrity

Lead With Conviction

Integrity isn't just a policy; it’s the core attitude of a professional. High performance demands honesty, fairness, responsibility, and respect. Academic integrity means you lead with your own work and give credit where it's due. We demand your best.

Submissions

Deliver On Time

Your unit outlines contain the essential intel for submission instructions. If you're unsure, ask your lecturer or unit co-ordinator.

Zero Tolerance for Ambiguity: We run a tight ship. All submissions pass through Turnitin, benchmarking your work against the internet, journals, and other student output. Prove your originality. We demand it.

Examinations

Get Ready To Execute

When units culminate in a final exam, you must be ready to perform for the entire examination period.

  • Be Ready: The final timetable is your roadmap and will be released a minimum of seven days before the start date.

  • Final Instructions: Check the Examinations Policy and Procedure - leave nothing to chance.

Accessing Your Progress

Unforeseen Obstacles?

If illness or a serious circumstance impacts your preparation or performance, there is a path forward. But move fast. Applications for special consideration for final exams must be submitted within the required timeframe.

Final Results

The Scorecard. Your results drop via Moodle. Score not visible? Time to settle up any outstanding debt.

Push Your Performance Limits

Overloading

Want to accelerate your performance? The Dean may grant approval for an overloaded study period if you are in the final period, repeating a failed unit, or have an excellent academic record. The Academic Services Team will deliver the final word on your eligibility.

Cross-Institution Enrolment

Performance Without Borders. Need to take a unit elsewhere? Approval is possible, but only if the unit is unavailable here. You handle the logistics and fees. Once completed, submit the official transcript to secure the credit/exemption. Maintain consistency and compliance.
